OUTREACH PROJECT

The occasion was the handing over of $101,392 to the Salvation Army, representing the Gleaner Company's donation of $2 from the sale of each copy of the Gleaner during the Gleaner Company's Salvation Army Promotion on Monday.
Gleaner staff members in Kingston, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay went on the road with Salvation Army officers to help raise funds for the Army's many charities. (l-r) Millicent Pitter Mr. Wilmot Reid and Robert Reid. The Army collected an additional $45,000 during the two hour promotion.
